Concrete contracts signed before the truck shows up
Concrete doesn't wait. Once the truck is ordered and the forms are set, a missing signature on the extra yards or the new finish turns into an argument after the pour. SignMaster gets it signed on the spot, whether you're pouring a homeowner's driveway or working as a sub on a commercial job.

What gets signed on a concrete job
Residential work
- Proposal and contract: area, thickness, mix, reinforcement, finish, tear-out and price. Put your expectations about normal cracking and curing in writing here.
- Site and access terms: who marks utilities, where the truck can go, and what happens to the lawn it crosses.
- Finish and color approval: the stamp pattern, color and sealer the homeowner picked, initialed so nobody remembers it differently.
- Change orders: extra yards, a thicker apron, a delay for weather. Get the new price signed before the pour.
- Completion sign-off: the homeowner's sign-off on the finished work, with your care instructions and warranty terms.
Commercial and subcontract work
- Subcontract agreements with the general contractor.
- Lien waivers with each pay request. Learn the difference between conditional and unconditional waivers before you sign either.
- Change order requests for added scope, and paperwork about retainage at closeout.
On pour day
Your finisher finds the subgrade needs more base, or the homeowner wants the patio six inches wider. Open your change order template on your phone: description, quantity, unit price and a calculated total. Choose Sign in person, hand over the phone, and the homeowner signs, guided field by field. In the iPhone and iPad app, only your Face ID or passcode gets you back out.
Homeowner at work? Send it. Each send is an envelope, one or more documents going to one or more signers, and they sign from a link on any phone or computer without an account. Everyone gets the sealed PDF and its certificate of completion by email when the last signature is in.
Working with general contractors
Sending lien waivers and change order requests to a GC is where signing order and signer groups help:
- 1
Set the order
You sign first, then the GC's project manager, then their office if they countersign. Each person gets their link when it's their turn.
- 2
Use a group when anyone can sign
If any one of the GC's project managers can approve, put them in a signer group. The first one to sign completes that step.
- 3
Keep the record
Every completed envelope has a certificate and audit trail: who signed, when, from which IP address, and a fingerprint of the original file.
Read what a lien waiver is for the basics. The rules differ by state, and SignMaster doesn't decide which waiver form you need.
Scan the paper that comes with the job
A marked-up plan page, the GC's paper forms, a delivery ticket: in the iPhone and iPad app, scan them into clean, searchable PDFs. The app also keeps company stamps, like your license or company seal, made from a photo and shared with your team. On a computer, Scan with your phone drops phone photos straight into a draft.
Bulk send rarely fits concrete work, since each job is its own contract. The exception is a yearly resealing offer to past decorative concrete customers, sent from one CSV file on any paid plan. Spanish-speaking customers and crews see the signing page, emails and consent in Spanish, among 6 languages.
Pricing
Solo is $15 a month with unlimited envelopes. Crew is $49 a month for 5 people, so estimators, foremen and the office can all send, and each extra person is $8 a month. Free covers 3 envelopes a month. New workspaces get 14 days of Crew free, no card. See every plan.
What SignMaster doesn't do
- It doesn't do takeoffs, estimate yardage, order concrete or schedule pours.
- It doesn't build pay applications or collect payments.
- It doesn't decide which lien waiver or notice forms your state requires.
- It sends signing requests by email, not text. You can copy a signer's link and text it yourself.
Questions? Answers.
Can I get a change order signed on pour day?
Yes. Fill in the change order template on your phone and hand it over for in-person signing, or send it by link if the customer isn't there.
Can I send lien waivers to a general contractor?
Yes. Upload your waiver form or build it as a template, add the GC's signers in order, and send. They sign from a link without an account.
What if any one of several project managers can sign?
Put them in a signer group. Whichever one signs first completes that step, and the envelope moves on.
Can the homeowner approve a stamp pattern and color in writing?
Yes. Add the pattern, color and sealer as fields with initials beside each, and the signed copy goes to both of you.
