Applications and acknowledgments, signed without the back-and-forth
An agency signs a lot of paper that isn't the policy itself: applications, supplemental questionnaires, coverage acknowledgments, broker of record letters. SignMaster gets those signed at your desk or from a link, keeps a record of who signed what and when, and charges one price for a small team instead of one per producer.

What agencies send for signature
- Applications and questionnairesThe carrier's PDF, filled with what you already know and signed by the insured. Fillable PDF fields come in with the file.
- Coverage acknowledgmentsWhen a client turns down a coverage you recommended, get it signed. Where your state or carrier prescribes the form, use theirs.
- Broker of record lettersThe client signs from a link the same day, and you send the signed letter on to the carrier.
- Agency agreementsService agreements and onboarding paperwork for new commercial clients, from a template your producers share.
- Driver and vehicle detailsA driver's license field, plus an attachment field where clients upload a PDF or snap a photo on the signing page.
- Yearly reviewsAn annual coverage review form to every client from one CSV, with bulk send on any paid plan.
At the desk or by link
Walk-in clients sign on an iPad at your desk with Sign in person, guided field by field. In the iPhone and iPad app, only your Face ID or passcode ends the session, so the client can't wander into your other files.
Everyone else signs from a link on any phone or computer, with no account. Add an access code you share, or a one-time code SignMaster emails to the signer, for documents with personal details. Set a sign-by date, and reminders go out on their own until it's signed.
Each send is an envelope: one or more documents going to one or more signers. An application and its supplements can go out together, and your producers share the same templates. Team roles decide who can send, who can edit templates and who can only view.
The record behind every signature
Every completed document comes back as a sealed PDF with a certificate of completion. It shows each signer's IP address and approximate location, when they viewed, consented and signed, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of each original file. The envelope ID is printed on every page, so a loose page can always be traced back to its envelope.
That record matters when a client later says they never declined a coverage. You can show the signed document, when they opened it and when they signed. Signing in person leaves the same trail as signing by link.
Clients who prefer another language
The signing page, emails and e-signature consent come in 6 languages, Spanish among them, and clients can switch at any time. The application itself stays in the language the carrier wrote it in.
Pricing for agencies
Free covers 3 envelopes a month for one person. Solo is $15 a month with unlimited envelopes. Crew is $49 a month for 5 people, with your agency's logo on every email and signing page. Company covers 15 people for $99 a month, and extra seats are $8 a month each. New workspaces get 14 days of Crew free, no card. Compare plans.
What SignMaster doesn't do
- It doesn't connect to carriers, comparative raters or your agency management system.
- It doesn't quote, bind or issue policies.
- It doesn't track state rules for electronic delivery of policies or prescribed forms. Your compliance process still owns that.
- It doesn't take premium payments, and it sends by email, not text.
Questions? Answers.
Are e-signatures valid on insurance documents?
The federal ESIGN Act says it applies to the business of insurance, and a signature can't be denied legal effect just because it's electronic. Carriers still set their own rules for which forms they accept electronically, so check before you replace a wet signature.
Do clients need an account to sign?
No. They open a link on any phone or computer, or sign on your iPad at the desk. Nothing to install.
Can several producers share one account?
Yes. Crew includes 5 people and Company 15, each with their own login and a role: owner, admin, member or viewer. Templates are shared across the agency.
Can I send a carrier's application as is?
Yes. Upload the PDF, place signature and date fields or let Alana place them next to the signature lines, and send. You review everything before it goes out.
